Kenneth Catania
Kenneth Catania was born at Pieta (Malta) on the 29th July 1980. Starting showing interest in the music scene from the age of 13 he started mixing at the age of 15 and at the age of 18 he had his first club experiences, when he was offered the opportunity to play commercial music in one of Malta's top clubs back in the nineties, Tremors Underground Club.
Focussing on a less commercial style of music, particularly Techno he then moved to be a resident Dj at Malta's top techno club Mirage, where he played for several months, being included also in the Dj line up of different parties and events, especially those hosted by Genetix. Due to the fact that the techno music scene lost it's popularity he then focussed his time to radio production and presenting, and there's where together with radio teammate for the last thirteen years Elton Gatt, One Clubbing was born.
Elton Gatt
Elton Gatt was born on the 14th feb 1980 at Pieta (MALTA). Starting his first radio programm SUPER ONE WEEKEND at the age of 15 with Kenneth Catania, playing pop and commercial dance music.
In the year 2000 he started another programm, which is still being aired every Friday night between 0200-0600, namely ONE WEEKEND PARTY with Kenneth Catania.
Specialising in commercial music, Elton also features some funky house tunes during his radio sets.
Once again teamed with Kenneth Catania, Elton now also presents another show on Malta's leading radio station namely One Clubbing, every Saturday night. This was when he diverted his style to a more pumping one, playing funky and uplifting house.
Radio Career
Started training radio skills and techniques at the age of 14 and began his live experience during the early Saturday hours at the age of 16 presenting Super One Weekend every Friday night between 0100 and 0600, first with partner Renaldo Arciola then continuing for some time on his own, Kenneth Catania then teamed up with Chris Camilleri for a few months, then after Chris left One as well he teamed up with Elton Gatt in 1997.
In the year 2000 Super one weekend was rescheduled and renamed and till today One weekend party is being aired every Friday night between 0200 and 0600, giving listeners a large variety of music.
